Never Too Old to Learn Safety with Tools
Quick post to end the year. Just bought some craft knives from Hobbycraft in the UK for £5. Which seemed a good price except...
They have been called to serve Khorne.
First time I used them I managed to stab myself with the super sharp blade. Still it proves they are sharp enough for the job.

I won't go into some of the reasons but I cut myself ALOT with using craft knives and various things.. When doing some clean up and cutting, I have a pair of cheap 'Anti-cut' gloves. Claim 'Level 5' which doesn't mean too much for me but you can pretty much run a knife blade over them and they are pretty fine. Not great for needle sized stuff so a stab with a short point will go through, but when using a craft knife, they give a great level of protection.. and since often only need to use one, as the knife hand is normally less likely to get cut, you kinda get twice the useage out of them ^_^

DeleteGood suggestion. Alternatively, if you don't have gloves at hand, you can immolate a couple of victims to Khorne on a Chaos altar by killing them with your craft knife, before peacefully pursuing your hobby...
