This Luck Cannot Hold
After escaping the troll yesterday, Brenda moved on to find herself faced by a snarling wolf and the route blocked by cliffs. Despite not being the most agile, she dodged the wolf and head back to the bridge (and the troll). Once again the troll failed to block her path as she pushed past him (again) and danced away the wolf a second time.
Now back at the crossroads which way to take? All this action has drained Brenda's endurance down to 2 and the wolf still pursuit. So, she decided to eat the bread and hope to find something else to give to grandma.
So, far while being lucky against her encounters she is back to where she started and no bread for grandma. Plus, with a wolf still chasing.
