Hail to the King
Before moving on, Brenda crammed down the steaming hot apple
pie (and thought of custard) and before long she noticed large rats
watching her from bushes. And then the King Rat appeared blocking her path and
demanded food or gold.
Unimpressed by his ratty demeanour and she swung her axe and the
King rat rapidly slunk back into the bushes. Happily, Brenda continued on her
way.

I'm watching these series every three or four days, and so I get to see several posts every time. I'm so totally hooked up to this!
ReplyDeleteI was just playing a bit of Nutcracker earlier this evening and thinking that's what my Christmas needs is more rats! (Not even joking. I said that to my section. They were unimpressed. And sadly, we're not playing the fight scene. It doesn't make it into the suite, and we're not even playing all of that this year. One of these days I need to get into the pit of a proper production.) Anyway . . . glad Brenda didn't need the Nutcracker Prince to take down the Rat King, but I hope we get some good dances as we continue down the path! Bravo!
